Sunday Rose Dinner at the Garden
5.30pm to 7.00pm

La Back in Town!

After a few years cooking away from Newport Beach, I am very happy to be back in this area.
I know it is only Sunday night, but I am happy for it.

Why “Rosé”? I am not sure if you are like me, but “rosé wine” for me is a symbol of a relaxed time, it is refreshing and cools you off from a heated day or hard-working week.

It also reminds me of the good days under the sun of the South of France. This menu, with a French Provencal accent, is the appropriate pairing and it goes well with the view of these colorful surroundings of the gardens.

Enjoy our “Comfort Fine-Cuisine” fare and stroll around “le jardin”.

My goal is for you to have a perfect end to Sunday and start the following week in “Bonne humeur!”

Merci et Bon Appetit!

During the Summer months Sherman Gardens will be kickin’ back and staying open late on Sundays.

Chef Pascal Olhats is one the best-known chefs in Orange County. His influence runs deep, as he’s worked with or inspired many great chefs in Southern California. In this episode we talk about how making people happy is a driving force in his success; Pascal’s relationship with legendary French Chef Paul Bocuse; and how sometimes all you need is a really good tomato.

It was an extra special episode for Jeff because Pascal was the subject of Jeff’s first dive into filmmaking. The movie, “La Tradition” was featured in the Newport Beach Film Festival and can be seen here:
