First and foremost, we hope that you and your families stay safe and healthy as we undergo these unprecedented times together. We have high hopes that as long as we follow the rules, sooner than we know, everything will return to normal. We look forward to hosting you again in our business because we do not exist without our customers.
In the meantime, we’ve come up with something that we believe you should take advantage of. We have partnered up with our Specialty Food Supplier that provides us with all the delicious food that we prepare for you in our restaurant. They are now providing Home Delivery of their exquisite line of products at discounted prices and delivered straight to your door. All you have to do is enter our discount code CAFEJARD10 on their website sognotoscano.com and receive 10% OFF and we receive a portion of the sale to help us through these times. Let’s utilize OUR Supplier that has plenty of inventory, unused trucks and employees that are still allowed outside because groceries are essential. Skip the line and the heavily crowded supermarkets, buy directly the same products that we buy and let’s support one another.
WE WOULD LOVE YOUR SUPPORT, THANK YOU! PASCAL
TRADITIONS by PASCAL
Chef Pascal Olhats is one the best-known chefs in Orange County. His influence runs deep, as he’s worked with or inspired many great chefs in Southern California. In this episode we talk about how making people happy is a driving force in his success; Pascal’s relationship with legendary French Chef Paul Bocuse; and how sometimes all you need is a really good tomato.
It was an extra special episode for Jeff because Pascal was the subject of Jeff’s first dive into filmmaking. The movie, “La Tradition” was featured in the Newport Beach Film Festival and can be seen here: https://vimeo.com/ondemand/latradition
Breakfast in the Barn is another delicious and wonderful success! Thank you Anne Fanous Manassero, Pascal Olhats and Team! Peter, Marie-Annick and I had such fun! Next one is June 6 with Chef Daniels from Haven Gastropub – Orange.
